PURPOSE of THIS POSITION
This role requires expertise in designing campaigns, developing outreach content, supporting organizational visibility, and advising senior leadership on a range of communication issues. The position plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality communication with diverse stakeholders (including industry, our members and government) to ensure they understand ours’s role, value, and impact.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Strategic Communications Management
• Plan, develop, and manage all organizational communications for Nirapon.
• Design and implement the overall communications campaign for projects and initiatives.
• strategic advice and technical expertise to the CEO and leadership team (and Board, as required) on communications, crisis communications and public affairs issues.
Advocacy
• CEO and leadership team with advocacy needs and stakeholder engagement
• Campaigns & Public Engagement
• Lead the coordination and implementation of safety awareness-raising campaigns for local audiences.
• Ensure alignment of all campaign messaging and themes across relevant project outputs.
• Content Development & Media Management
• Oversee the creation of communication products including reports, publications, brochures, posters, and newsletters targeted to key audiences.
• Write, edit, and design outreach materials for print, digital, and multimedia platforms.
• Manage external contractors for specific projects
• Manage and grow the organization’s website and social media presence (LinkedIn, X and Facebook), ensuring regular updates and the creation of multimedia content (photos, videos, graphics).
Organizational Support
• Contribute to the design and preparation of training modulesand 90-day progress reports.
• Support dissemination of program results and visibilityactivities in coordination with the CEO.
• Facilitate transparent communication and needs of theNirapon Board.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO or supervisor
DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Knowledge of graphic design and desktop publishing software. Familiarity with the Industry and Manufacturing in Bangladesh and the broader policy and legal landscape Experience working within non-profit organisations.

Language Requirements
