Role Overview
This role will independently acquire and grow new business under the guidance and leadership of the Area Manager or Head of Business. The BO shall engage with the appointed bank branch officials to achieve that assigned branch`s overall business goals and targets. Close the leads generated by the bank`s officials into the Life Insurance Business.
Key Responsibilities
• Convert leads generated by bank officials into life insurance business in line with company guidelines.
• Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets, particularly First Year Premium FYP).
• Ensure timely and accurate collection of renewal premiums from assigned bank partners.
• Develop and maintain strong, professional working relationships with bank officials to drive sustained business growth.
• Provide prompt support and high-quality service to bank officials and customers to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
• Regularly report sales performance, pipeline status, and market feedback to the reporting manager.
• Participate in sales meetings, training programs, and performance reviews as required.
Experience Requirements
• Maximum 1 year of work experience.
• Candidates with prior exposure to banking or financial institutions will be preferred.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Additional Requirements
• Age: 26 to 30 years.
• Prior experience in sales of financial products or services will be an added advantage.
• Candidates from direct sales teams within the financial industry will receive priority consideration.
• Strong personal integrity with a high level of honesty, accountability, and ethical standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook
• Good business communication skills (verbal and written)
• Effective relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel frequently to assigned bank branches and customer locations.
